]]>The Transition Committee is encouraged with the progress to date concerning the sale of the Canadian Martyrs site. The next step is due diligence with the preferred purchaser, and at the same time, pursuing the required approval process with the Archbishop and the Vatican. As you can appreciate, this process may take several more months. In the meantime, the Transition Committee is bound by confidentiality obligations surrounding the offers. While this may be frustrating to some, the committee is confidant parishioners will be pleased with the eventual financial outcome.
As well, the committee is beginning work on a process plan for redevelopment of the St. Thomas Aquinas site and those details will be shared with you further, likely in a Parish town hall meeting once we have sufficient detail to report.
