Our Eucharistic Adoration

Could you not keep watch for one hour?

Mark 14:37

Next to receiving Our Lord in the Holy Eucharist, at the celebration of Mass, the closest that we can get to our Lord’s Real Presence is Eucharist Adoration. We are attempting to increase our hours of Eucharistic Adoration in the parish. The benefits of Eucharistic Adoration in a parish are many and have been attested to by those parishes that have Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Some of the benefits are; parishioners increasing their love for God, the Church, and their brothers and sisters in Christ, and becoming more engaged in the parish. As well, those who spend time before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament attest to many answers to prayer. We have created a Brochure, which is available at the back of the church on our two tables. This Brochure explains the why of Eucharistic Adoration and also, what one may do during Eucharistic Adoration. We invite you to take a brochure, and read it and prayerfully consider spending one hour in Adoration with our Lord a week.

The Adoration hours we attempting to have are:

"It is pleasant to spend time with Him, to lie close to His breast like the Beloved Disciple (cf. Jn 13:25) and to feel the infinite love present in His heart..."
